Terms of service

Last updated: 23 May 2026. Plain-English summary at the top; the binding terms follow. EN only.

The plain-English version

  • You pay a monthly or yearly subscription. Cancel any time, keep access until the period ends.
  • First 30 days are covered by a no-questions-asked refund.
  • We own our code; you own your data. We process your Google data on your behalf under our DPA.
  • Don't use LeanSEO to attack other sites, spam, or break the law. Don't share your account.
  • We can suspend an account that breaks these rules or that is endangering the service for other tenants.

1. Who this is between

These terms are an agreement between you (or the company you represent) and Blue Networks OÜ (Registrikood 11490042, KMKR EE101373584), Liivaoja 4A, Tallinn 10155, Estonia — the company that operates the LeanSEO service. By creating an account you accept these terms and our Privacy policy.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older to sign up. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. Subscription, billing, refunds

LeanSEO is a paid service from day one — there is no free tier and no free trial. Plans, prices, and feature lists are on our pricing section. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.

30-day money-back guarantee: within 30 days of your first payment, click the refund button on your billing page and we refund the current period and cancel your subscription. No questions, no forms. Beyond 30 days, refunds are at our discretion.

EU VAT is applied where applicable. Stripe receipts double as VAT invoices.

4. Data and the DPA

We are a Data Processor for the Google-derived data you connect (Search Console, Analytics) and a Data Controller for your account data. Our Data Processing Agreement is auto-accepted as part of these terms and is available as a PDF on request. See the Privacy policy for what we collect, why, and for how long.

5. What you can't do

  • Use the service to attack, defraud, or harm any site or person.
  • Resell or repackage LeanSEO as your own product without an Agency-tier plan or written agreement.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with our APIs beyond their documented behaviour.
  • Connect Google properties you don't own or don't have explicit permission to monitor.
  • Connect Google properties whose Search Console or Analytics data contains special categories of personal data within the meaning of GDPR Article 9 (for example, health, religious, or political-opinion data identifiable to specific visitors). We are not the right processor for that data.
  • Use the service in violation of Google's API Services User Data Policy.

6. Our uptime and your data

We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime and back up the database daily with a 30-day rolling window. We do not commit to a contractual SLA on Starter and Pro plans; Agency and Custom plans can include one on request.

7. Cancellation and erasure

You can cancel from the billing page at any time. You can also delete your account or your tenant from the app — see the Privacy policy for what that does and how long the grace window lasts.

8. Dormant accounts

If an account has had no logins, no API calls, and no successful billing event for 36 months in a row, we will email the account owner a 30-day notice at the address on file. If we don't hear back within that window, we close the account, cancel any active subscription, and erase the account's data on the same schedule as a customer-initiated deletion. We do this to keep data minimal — not as a charge or penalty.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, that are abusive to support or other tenants, or whose payments have failed for more than 14 days after a dunning notice. In severe cases (illegal activity, security threats, abuse of our Google API access) we may suspend immediately.

10. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a delay or failure to perform under these terms caused by an event outside its reasonable control — for example a sustained outage at Google, Cloudflare, Hetzner, Aiven, or Stripe; a country-level internet disruption; a denial-of-service attack beyond standard mitigations; an act of war, terrorism, or government action; a labour dispute; or a natural disaster.

The party affected must notify the other in writing within 3 calendar days of the event and use reasonable efforts to work around it. If the event lasts more than 30 calendar days, either party may terminate the contract for the affected service with written notice and we'll refund any pre-paid, unused portion of the subscription.

11. Your indemnification of us

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Blue Networks OÜ and its directors and employees against any third-party claim, regulatory action, or loss (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your connecting Google properties you don't own or don't have explicit permission to monitor.
  • Your use of the service in violation of Google's API Services User Data Policy or any limit Google places on our access.
  • Content you upload, link, or instruct us to fetch that infringes a third party's rights or breaks the law.
  • Your breach of Section 5 (“What you can't do”).

This indemnity doesn't apply to anything we caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and we'll let you know promptly if a claim arrives so you can run the defence with our cooperation.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blue Networks OÜ's aggregate liability under these terms is capped at the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data beyond our backup window. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — for example, liability for fraud, gross negligence, death, or personal injury.

13. Changes to these terms

We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that point is your acceptance of the new terms. If you don't agree, cancel — your refund window resets if the change is materially adverse to you.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are submitted to the Harju County Court in Tallinn, unless EU consumer law gives you a more protective forum. Before going to court, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith by email — give it at least 30 days.

15. Final provisions

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent, except to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of your assets. We may assign these terms to an affiliate or to a successor in a similar corporate event on written notice to you.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the unenforceable provision is replaced with the closest enforceable equivalent.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy policy and the Data Processing Agreement they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and Blue Networks OÜ for the LeanSEO service. They supersede any prior written or oral agreement on the same subject.

No waiver

If we don't enforce a right under these terms in one instance, that's not a waiver of that right in any future instance.
